Assignments for the Week of February 27-29

You only have one assignment this week outside of learning your lines and improving your performance for Tuesday.  Please read everyone's final Shakespeare movie reviews and comment on at least 2 of them.  It is so interesting to read the reviews in which people have clearly incorporated what they learned from their viewing into their own performances.  The assignment is up on Turnitin now and you have until Wednesday night to finish it.  However....I would that you not wait so long.  You may learn something you can use on Tuesday.

Shakespeare movie review.  This is your last movie, so make it a good one.  If you haven’t watched Discovering Hamlet, watch it because a lot of people got a lot out of it.  Shakespeare’s Women and Claire Bloom is another good one. Claire Bloom is a model of diction and annunciation.  Dominique recommends Playing Shakespeare which is a TV series covering different facets of acting and producing Shakespeare’s play.  All three of these can be streamed from Netflix.
